Courses

In this two-day course, you'll gain a deep understanding of Scrum principles and practices, as well as the role of the ScrumMaster in leading and facilitating Scrum teams. You'll also learn how to effectively apply Agile project management techniques and foster collaboration between cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes. With your Certified ScrumMaster designation, you'll be equipped to contribute to the adoption and implementation of Scrum methodology in your organization.

Much of a leader’s work is accomplished through daily conversations with team members and others. These interactions, especially the tough ones, often involve intensely personal feelings (on both sides) that have an impact on the practical outcome of the conversation and the personal connection between the leader and the person. The leader’s level of emotional intelligence—the ability to manage oneself and one’s relationships—is a critical factor in the success of these tough conversations.
Coaching: Move People Forward shows leaders how to flex their approach to meet the unique needs of the people they're coaching, right where they are, and guide them in successfully achieving a goal. To have this kind of positive impact takes a trusting relationship, and that means coaches must have a better understanding of the other person and themselves.
Roundtables
This month, our focus is on the pivotal aspect of project planning, an essential skill that sets the tone for project success. As project managers, we wear multiple hats and navigate through various methodologies, including waterfall, agile, and SAFe, to ensure seamless execution.
In this discussion, we’ll uncover some of the applications of technology that drive the value of data for business and personal advantage.  This roundtable will explore the evolution of machines for use in automation, real-time analysis, natural language processing, and the implications to human lives.
This month we will discuss the challenges of finding & managing trusted partners. Likewise, managing “necessary” yet possibly untrusted vendors is often a reality as well. It is also important to recognize that, while you may be paying the bills, any partnership that matters is a two way relationship that your organization has a vital role in.
Boot Camps
This 24-week Data Engineering Boot Camp introduces key skills to build data pipelines that can transform raw, unstructured data into formats that others, like data scientists, can use for analysis. The Boot Camp will also teach you to design data streams and create application programming interfaces (APIs) with additional exposure to intermediate SQL.
This 24-week Data Science Boot Camp is a challenging, part-time program in a high-demand field. The Data Science Boot Camp introduces the use of statistical inference and machine learning to manipulate data and draw actionable conclusions derived from research. It will also train you to use Python and Python-based tools, which have become the universal language of the data science world.
This 24-week Washington University Cybersecurity Boot Camp is a challenging, part-time program that takes a multidisciplinary approach to attaining proficiency in IT, networking and modern information security. Throughout the course, you will gain experience with a host of popular tools such as Wireshark, Kali Linux, Metasploit, Nessus and more. In addition, students will learn skills applicable to certifications such as the CompTIA Security+ and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), which can greatly enhance desirability and employability in today's job market.
