Course description

This course teaches health care participants how to facilitate team processes for maximum productivity and results, even in the absence of leadership or authority. Topics covered include team building, effective meeting management, building relationships and ensuring long-term team effectiveness. The course also integrates strategy and organizational due diligence with facilitation and change strategies, using design frameworks for effective facilitation.

Who should take this course?

This course is an introduction to how to manage change and effectively facilitate teams. It’s ideal for the executive, frontline leader, physician and novice lean practitioner. Rising stars working in a frontline position will also benefit as the course will position them for growth. Participants who wish to take this course should first complete OpEx 500 Health Care Operational Excellence Principles course.
