Professor of Practice and Academic Director
Jeromey Farmer, is an AI expert specializing in technology, data strategy and data science. With a BS in Computer Science, MS in Information Systems, MBA specializing in Supply Chain, and a PhD in Applied Mathematics, he currently serves as the academic director for Washington University's Master of Applied Data Science program. Additionally, he holds the position of North America Head of Data and AI Advisor at Avanade. Throughout his career, Farmer has held roles such as Managing Director at Slalom, VP at the Federal Reserve Bank, and various management consulting positions with companies including Nestle Purina, Edward Jones, Kynetec, Equifax and Safety National. In addition to teaching courses in deep learning, analytics applications, mathematics for data science and enterprise data strategy, Jeromey is actively involved in grant writing and research.
