Evaluating & Communicating Risk on your Projects.
April 6, 2023
After 3 years of pandemics, supply chain issues, inflation and possibility of a recession, the reality of the volatile, uncertain, complex ambiguous environment (VUCA) we are in is staring us in the face and it is not pretty. How do you evaluate and communicate risk on your projects?
Lela is a Sr Project Leader but also a Team Leader of associates. I've been at Edward Jones for 23 years. 17 years of that in Project Management. I've held my PMP since 2011. Lele has a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and an MBA.
A physics major, who ended with an English Lit degree, and landed in Tech – I took to project management for the learning opportunities, new puzzles to attack, and variety. At Washington University, I achieved a Masters in Project Management at WashU's Sever Institute, my PMP, and lead projects bringing Microsoft365 across both campuses, clinic acquisitions, the IT side of construction efforts, and solving other end user technology needs. After WashU, I worked on Infrastructure PMO projects with Centene, supporting IT needs across the U.S., and two years ago joined the Firm Analytics team at Edward Jones, tackling topics around Firm data, enabling decision making and supporting regulatory needs by reporting and analytics, and now joining with Firm Strategy efforts. My FERPA attention that was replaced by HIPAA training is now replaced by FINRA.
Jennifer joined Edward Jones in December 2020 as a Senior Project Leader within the HR PMO Organization. She has a passion for leading projects that directly impact the lives of employees and building professional and personal relationships. Prior to joining Edward Jones, Jennifer worked for American Express Global Business Travel for 6 years where she held a variety of roles ranging from Client Consulting, Senior Project Leader, and Senior Product Manager.
