This session explores how our hidden biases shape decision-making and interactions, often without our awareness. Through engaging discussions and practical exercises, participants will learn to recognize and challenge their implicit assumptions, fostering more objective reasoning and inclusive perspectives. By integrating critical thinking strategies, attendees will gain tools to  enhance problem-solving, and make more informed, equitable decisions in both personal and professional settings.

Jeff Mishkin, a lifelong St. Louis resident, earned an engineering degree from Washington University in St. Louis (Systems, Science and Mathematics), and an MBA from the University of Texas – Austin (Operations & Marketing). 

After being employed for 25 years in a B2B capacity at several large, mid-size, and start-up manufacturing, construction, and service organizations, Jeff pivoted and served another 15 years in the field of commercial Energy Efficiency (EE) and Renewable Energy (RE).  Throughout Jeff’s career he constantly honed his unique skillset - including his technical expertise and sales acumen to consistently add value to the numerous and various stakeholders.
