Be a Project Motivator: Unlock the Secrets of Strengths-Based Project Management

This insightful session develops skills in human factors enabling project leaders to build empowered and engaged teams that consistently deliver results. Using character strengths and positive psychology will help project leaders and their teams feel better about work. They find their purpose. Session focus includes building connection, character strengths from the VIA Institute on Character, and mindfulness. Negatives, deficits, a scarcity mindset - these are all "sticky" and naturally tend to take our attention away from things that are positive in us and in others. This especially true during times of stress! Even in times of difficulty, each of us has rich resources to draw on and when we focus on those resources, possibilities take the place of obstacles.

  • Find out about how your top strengths affect your sense of engagement and connection.
  • Hear about a case study in applying strengths in a team of 110 people distributed around the world.
  • Discover how to see the strengths in others and to help them cultivate them
  • Discover how the VIA Character strengths align with seven key team roles and how those team roles boost our energy - or not!
